Dr Abhijit Sengupta is an experienced researcher with interests innovation and technology management, firm strategy, networks and complex systems. He is proficient in the use of a wide variety of quantitative and computational methodologies in his research - such as econometrics and statistics, simulation based modelling, applied game theory etc., and is interested in multi-disciplinary research.

He has published in top tier journals such as Research Policy, British Journal of Management, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and Advances in Complex Systems. He is also associated as a researcher in the ESRC Business and Local Government Data Research Centre at University of Essex.

Abhijit has extensive previous experience of private sector R&D, with close connections to analytics, marketing, and service development. Prior to joining EBS, he worked as a Senior Scientist at Unilever Research & Development, UK from 2005-2012, where he led multiple high impact analytics based projects.

Abhijit has a PhD in Economics, specializing in Industrial Organization and Game Theory from Stony Brook University in New York.
