Full-time MBA

Full-time students study five modules per Autumn and Spring Term, alongside Director's Workshops. During the Autumn Term, you study compulsory modules. In the Spring Term, you study a combination of compulsory and optional modules to tailor your course around your interests and professional ambitions. During the Summer Term, you undertake two taught modules as well as your final MBA project.

Executive MBA

Executive MBA students opt for a two or three year pathway. You take two or three one week modules per term (plus an induction week in your first term), giving you the flexibility to complete your MBA alongside your existing employment or running your own business.

Entrepreneurial business links

  • You hear from visiting speakers who offer insight into contemporary business issues.
  • We visit inspiring local firms to learn from their success.
  • We connect with business incubators to see first-hand the issues of getting your own business off the ground.
  • We run regular networking events with local and national businesses to build relationships that can result in jobs, internships and research projects for our students and graduates.
  • Our advisory board is made up of experienced practitioners from industry, finance and the public sector, including HSBC, BT, Invesco and Rolls Royce.

Director's Workshops

Our Director’s Workshops give you the chance to develop your academic and professional skills by discussing current issues from the world of business. The workshops, which may include company visits and external speaker presentations in addition to sessions delivered by our academics, are linked to topics you explore as part of your taught modules.

Recent examples include:

  • marketing yourself
  • new business ideas
  • business ethics
  • big data for small businesses
  • visits to Adnams PLC, Cambridge Science Park and HSBC

The Director’s Workshops are only open to those studying the standard 12 month MBA.
