Reflectivity/Ellipsometry

Schematic diagram of the reflectivity experiment. The wafer is illuminated by a white light source, passed through a monochromator, separating out a particular wavelength. The 50/50 beam splitter reflects the light onto the sample, while reflected light from the sample is registered by a detector, averaged by the boxcar averager and recorded onto computer for analysis.
