Project Open Day

20 March 2017, Colchester Campus

The Project Open Day showcases our undergraduates' final year projects and their outcomes to an audience of academics, potential employers, examiners and members of the university community. For our students it is a momentous occasion, the culmination of an entire year's work in an opportunity to present and demonstrate a truly interesting project.

The projects themselves aim to employ the best of each student's technical and creative abilities in putting into practice skills and knowledge gained through study, while presentations focus on effectively involving an audience of varied technical abilities and understanding in the project.

Project Presentation Day

3 May 2017, Colchester Campus

Our Project Presentation Day gives the students whose presentations were judged the best at our Project Open Day the opportunity to present their project in more depth and involve guests in the entire process of development.

The presenters also compete to win one of two prizes judged by our panel of academics, industry professionals and examiners. The industry professionals on our panel are usually Project Open Day attendees with a keen interest in computing, technology and an eye for outstanding talent.
