Gillian Powell Davies

I have worked as a careers guidance specialist at two universities for a large part of my career. I have worked with students, graduates and academic staff from a wide range of academic disciplines, supporting them in their career plans.  I have also worked for the British Council and run my own learn-to-swim business.

Carol Faiers

I have designed, delivered and assessed employability modules on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University. I have over 25 years’ experience as a Senior Lecturer in a Business School where my responsibilities included leading on personal, professional and career development as well as business partnerships. I have also set up and been a Director of a small HR consultancy business.

Khrieu Healy

Prior to joining Essex as Employability Officer for Science and Health, I was an admissions and placements officer for several UK universities. This means I've worked alongside top employers to screen CVs, deliver advice and select candidates for competitive programmes such as Medicine. I'm also the Centre's Disabled Student Employment specialist.

Lynne Plant

I currently provide careers information and CV reviews in my role as a Careers Information Assistant. I bring over 30 years of experience and knowledge to the role; having worked in secondary, further and higher education, a not-for-profit organisation, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, a blue chip multinational, a start-up retail venture as well as successfully running my own business.

Lindsay Bennington

I currently work as a Careers Information Assistant offering information on career planning resources alongside CV reviews. Prior to working at the University of Essex, I was Communications Manager at Firstsite and have almost a decade of experience working in the arts and cultural sector. I am also University of Essex alumna.
