i-Teams

Want to use your ideas and knowledge to influence future directions and outcomes of a business while developing new creative problem solving, commercial awareness and team working skills?

The i-Teams programme could be a great opportunity for you!

What is i-Teams?

i-Teams combines multi-disciplinary teams of students with industry mentors to address a real business challenge. i-Teams was originally set up by MIT. The University of Cambridge adopted their own version with Essex piloting our programme in 2016. Students gain hands-on experience to apply skills and knowledge to industry and provides a great opportunity to network with local business.

What will you get?

  • Chance to apply your skills and knowledge to a real business challenge
  • Gain hands-on experience
  • Brainstorm and think creatively
  • Mentoring from industry experts
  • Counts towards The Big Essex Award under the Community Volunteering unit (minimum of 25 hours required)

Who can join?

All undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome to take part in i-Teams.

When and where?

6 sessions every Monday from 29 January 2018 – 5 March 2018

5.30 – 8pm, Essex Business School
