Our Southend Campus facilities

Self-study resource area

We maintain a self-study resource area at our Southend Campus. This provides you with information resources and a dedicated space for personal careers research.

Employability and Careers can now be found at the info point on the second floor of The Forum.

Download the Employability and Careers at Southend flyer for the list of services available

Careers interviews

You can book an appointment with one of our qualified careers advisers from Monday to Friday during term-time. Your interview will be via telephone or Skype at a time which fits around your timetable.

How to book an appointment

Contact us to arrange your appointment. Please include this information in your email to us:

  • your name and course of study
  • your telephone number
  • your Skype ID (if applicable)
  • a time that would suit you (we will do our best to accommodate your request)

Events

Keep up-to-date on the latest news about graduate careers and employability events through our special Southend edition of our E&CC Bulletin, emailed weekly (during term-time) to all Southend Campus students.

As a Southend student, you are very welcome to attend our Graduate Skills and Careers Fair, or any event that is part of our central events programme at Colchester Campus.

Transport arrangements

If you see something you would like to go to and want help with transports arrangements, please let the main reception at the Gateway Building know at least one week in advance, so they can assist.

Advanced booking

You must book your place through Essex CareerHub in advance if you would like to attend any of our events in the central programme.
