Your welcome pack

We have accommodation offices at University Quays, The Copse, and The Pastures in Colchester and at University Square in Southend. Staff in these offices will be happy to help with day-to-day enquiries about your room in those areas.

We also have a dedicated Student Information Team based in the Student Services Hub in Colchester for those of you that live in South Courts, North Towers, South Towers, The Houses or Wolfson Court, or for anyone that may have more complex accommodation queries.

What's in your welcome pack

To help you make the most of your time in our accommodation you will have received an electronic welcome pack before your arrival. You can also download a copy of the book below.

The welcome pack email contains:

an accommodation guide
link to your compulsory e-induction
a guide to the internet service
information regarding your insurance cover

This welcome pack contains all the information you need to help you settle in, including contact details for accommodation and emergency numbers for out of hours support.

New students will also receive information on how to register online for the Health Centre.
